People read reviews about you before they read about what you do
Having a good reputation has ALWAYS mattered
An in-person referral is the best referral. The thing is, few practices get enough new patients that way. Most practices need new patients who haven’t been referred to them. Since many people start their search for a new practice online, you should include being online in your healthcare marketing.
Patient reviews matter in healthcare
According to BrightLocal’s Local Consumer Review Survey 2018, an annual survey of over 1,000 US consumers, almost 40% of consumers read a review of a medical / healthcare practice online. Only restaurants and hotels scored higher.
Who would you call first?
Imagine you were searching for a new orthodontist in Naperville, Illinois. If you ONLY knew the following about each orthodontist, who would you call first? Dr. A has been a practicing orthodontist for 10 years, Dr. B for 20 years, and Dr. C for 26 years. Each orthodontist went to a good dental school, is board certified, has office hours that fit your schedule, takes your insurance, and is within five miles of your home.
Who would you call first? You probably don't know. They all sound so similar.
NOW who would you call first?
Now imagine you're searching for an orthodontist in Naperville. This time you go online like most of us do. You find Drs A, B, and C, but here's what you see:
Now who would you call first? Probably Frey Orthodontics. Frey has 125 patient reviews with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars. Frey seems to have prioritized publishing patient reviews online in their healthcare marketing.
All three orthodontists must have strong reputations. You can’t be in practice for at least 10 years unless you’re good at what you do. Kowalczyk and Engleman both have a 5 star average rating. Yet, most people would call Frey first. They get the first chance to get that new patient. All we see are the stars.
What we offer
We offer Review Manager Pro. We install it on your website. You choose which sites to send customers to (ex: Google, Facebook, Yelp, etc). Once Review Manager Pro is installed, it’s extremely easy for patients to leave a review. When you get a patient review, it shows on the external site (ex: Google) and your website. You can ask for a review in person, email, and text.
Here's a case study focused on a client using Review Manager Pro showing you the results that are possible when we work together.
